ABOUT KEESEVILLE HOPE KITCHEN

Keeseville Hope Kitchen is a ministry of Keeseville Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. Our mission is to feed our community through:

 

  • Improving access to healthy food and minimizing food insecurity.
  • Empowering individuals to learn to cook.
  • Offering a gathering place for ALL in the community to build connection and relationships.

 

Our mission and vision:

A certified commercial kitchen, with the purpose of meeting a basic need:

 

  • Feeding the hungry Empowering people to feed themselves.
  • Building connections and strengthening relationships in the community.

KEESEVILLE HOPE KITCHEN-EAT

Everyone needs to eat. Our Friday Night Community Supper are a gift to anyone who is hungry.

 

We also provide food for local families and partner with several local organizations to offer both groceries and heat and serve meals to families in need.

 

We believe that gathering around the table is a powerful representation o f the love of Christ. We'd love for you to join us!

KEESEVILLE HOPE KITCHEN- EDUCATE.

Another way to help share the good news of the Gospel is to help bring about flourishing in our community. We believe one way to do this is to help people learn how to cook and feed themselves. Throughout the year, we offer cooking classes as a way to help our neighbors and offer opportunity for fellowship.

 

We partner with other organizations and community members to offer cooking, nutrition and food preservation classes.

KEESEVILLE HOPE KITCHEN- EMPOWER

Keeseville Church is committed to improving our community. One way we feel that we can do this is to offer our space to those who need it. With this in mind, our kitchen is available for low cost rental for food based businesses and community needs. We are proud to open our space.
